Songs Of A Dead Dreamer is a double-album of experimental electronic music from the US underground hip-hop zone, constructed with an array of beats, samples and dub effects. Again presenting mutant instrumental hip-hop as the only viable future, DJ Spooky takes the listener on a trip through outer and inner space simultaneously, finally arriving at the intersection of all then-current themes in progressive electronics seeking to illuminate the twilight zone between perception and hallucination.
