Although formed before Sepultura, Brazilian metal pioneers Vulcano only recorded their first album in 1986. Bloody Vengeance rivals Sepultura’s Morbid Visions for primitive and savage metal in the European vein, delivering a 24-minute shock of twisted terrors themed in the occult. Despite the demented drumming, which recalls early Sodom, Vulcano sustain their vision of metal as a summoning of evil demons through a firewall of black electric chaos.
